If you've been on the site recently, you might have noticed something: it doesn't look the same anymore. That's because we just finished a complete overhaul of BlitheMC.com — new design, new tools, new everything.
This was a long time coming. The old site served us well, but as the server has grown, we needed something that actually matched the vibe of the community we've built. Cleaner. More functional. More us.
Here's a tour of what's new.
A Cohesive Minecraft-Themed Design
The biggest visual change is the design system itself. Every page now uses a consistent set of colors, fonts, and styling that actually feels like Minecraft — pixel-perfect icons, the Minecrafter font where it counts, our orange-and-dark-blue color palette throughout. No more pages that felt like they belonged to different websites.
Headers, buttons, cards, navigation — everything got rebuilt from the ground up to feel like one unified experience. Whether you're checking out the store, reading a wiki page, or browsing the blog, it all feels like the same place.
Mobile Got a Lot Better
The old site worked on mobile, but it wasn't great. The new site was designed mobile-first, which means everything actually looks and behaves the way it should on your phone — proper menus, readable text, tap targets that don't make you squint.
The hamburger menu now slides down cleanly with all the navigation organized into expandable sections.
New Tools You Can Actually Use
This is the part we're most excited about. We built (or rebuilt) a handful of tools that solve real problems players run into all the time:
Calculate exact Nether-to-Overworld portal coordinates so you can build linked portals that actually connect. No more "I built a portal in the Nether and ended up in the wrong place" headaches.
Tells you the optimal order to combine your enchanted books on an anvil to minimize XP cost. If you've ever spent thirty levels enchanting a pickaxe and gotten the dreaded "Too Expensive!" message, this tool exists for you.
Generates Minecraft color codes for gradient nicknames. Pick your colors, type your name, copy the code, paste it into chat. Boom — you've got a nickname that looks way cooler than everyone else's.
All three tools live under the MORE dropdown in the navigation. They're free to use, no login required, and they actually look good (which, let's be honest, is rare for these kinds of tools).

A Better Store
The store got a full redesign too. The new landing page actually explains what ranks are, why supporting the server matters, and what each tier gets you — instead of just dumping you into a list of products with no context.
You'll see:
A hero section with a clear "view ranks" call to action
An honest "why support" section that explains we're community-funded and ranks aren't pay-to-win
All five rank tiers laid out visually so you can compare at a glance
A clean checkout experience
If you've been thinking about supporting the server, the new store makes the whole process a lot less awkward.
Check It Out
Hop around the new site and let us know what you think. If you find anything broken, weird, or just confusing, drop a note in the Discord and we'll get it fixed. This is a living project — the launch is just the starting point.
A few good places to start:
The new homepage if you haven't actually looked at the front page in a while
The Tools section under the MORE dropdown
The Store if you want to see what supporting Blithe actually gets you
The Blog (you're already here, so good job)
Thanks for being patient while we worked on this. We hope you love it as much as we do.
